Gilukids cares a lot about your privacy. We only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle all the information that is collected about you and your use of our services. Your data will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Gilukids. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is January 26, 2025. Moreover, the publication of a new version can be canceled the validity of all previous versions. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, for which this data is used and with whom and under what conditions this data can be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against abuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data that you provide to us.

Cookies
Gilukids uses cookies. A cookie is a small collection of data that is sent from a web server to your browser and is stored on the hard drive of your computer. You can choose whether you want your browser to accept all cookies, accept cookies selectively or refuse all cookies. You can adjust these settings in the preference menu of your browser. If you refuse all cookies, you cannot fully use all products and services that Gilukids offers.
Google Analytics
Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to keep track of and to get reports on how visitors use the website.
This processor may be obliged to grant access to this data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations. We collect anonymized information about the surfing behavior of visitors and share this information with Google. Google can interpret this information in conjunction with other data sets and thus follow your surfing behavior on the internet. Google uses this information, among other things, to offer targeted advertisements (AdWords) and other Google services and products
Processing orders
If you provide us with your personal data, we use it to be able to handle the orders neatly and quickly. These are shared with our delivery service, payment provider and web store provider (Mijnwebwinkel and Sendcloud).
Your payment details, name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address are the personal data used with wood. In connection with tax retention obligation, these are stored for 7 years.
Provision to third parties:
MyParcel, PostNL, DHL and DPD. We use the services of the aforementioned transport channels and Sendcloud. Sendcloud is used to generate address labels that are confirmed on your package so that you can follow your order using a track & trace code. The actual execution and delivery of your order is in the hands of PostNL. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence details with Sendcloud and PostNL. This data is only used for the purpose of executing the agreement
Contact form
You can ask us questions with the contact form on the website. For this we use your e-mail address, telephone number and name and address details. We keep this information until we know for sure that you are satisfied with our response.
Provision to other companies and institutions
With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we do not provide your personal data to other companies or institutions under any condition, unless we are required by law.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our web store. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. It contains strict agreements about what they can keep track of. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. Data will be deleted after 14 months via Google Analytics.
Security
Security of personal data is of great importance for us. We ensure that your data is well protected with us. We always adjust security and pay close attention to what can go wrong. In order to be able to optimally guarantee security, we have concluded a processing agreement with all processors.
Changes to our privacy statement
When our web store changes, we must of course also adjust the privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date above and regularly see if there are new versions.

Gmail, Office365
For our regular business e-mail we use the e-mail services of Gmail and Office365. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss or corruption of your data. Neither Gmail nor Office365 have access to our mailbox and we treat our e-mail traffic confidentially.
Payment provider
Mollie
We use the payment provider Mollie to take out and process (part of) our payments in our web shop. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence details. They also process payment details such as your bank account number or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your personal (anonymous) data to further improve its services and to share it with third parties in that context. All the aforementioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to all services of Mollie that use third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than the periods that are permitted on the basis of the applicable legal grounds.
Purpose of the data processing
General goal of data processing
We use your data with the sole purpose of providing you with our services. This means that the purpose of the processing of this data is in direct relationship for the assignment or task that you offer us. We do not use this data for (addressed) marketing purposes. If you share data with us and we use this information to contact you - not based on a request - at a later time, we will first ask you for express permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, with any purpose other than meeting accounting and administrative obligations. These third parties all have a duty of confidentiality based on the agreement that we have with them, an oath or a legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Information that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the sole purpose of providing you with our services and/or to further improve our services. This information (for example your IP address (anonymized), web browser and operating system) is not a personal information.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigation
In appropriate cases, we can be obliged to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigation on the basis of a legal obligation. In such cases we are forced to cooperate with this, but we will object to this on the basis of the legal possibilities.
Retention periods
We save your data as long as you are a customer with us. This means that we keep track of and keep your client profile until you make us known that you no longer want to use our services. Such a message also acts as a request to be forgotten. We are obliged to keep invoices with your (personal) data due to relevant administrative obligations, this data is stored safely as long as the relevant period for these obligations has not yet expired. Personnel no longer has access to your customer profile and any documents made because of your assignment or task.
